6 months in business - review
a repost of my LinkedIn and Instagram post, celebrating 6 months in business, and sharing some fresh and raw insights
6 months later.
What have I done? Achieved? Loved? Loathed? What will I keep doing, what will I change?
Right now, I just need to recover from September. WHAT EVEN WAS THAT, amirite?
Seriously though, yes, as I get reminded by @wild_coworking REGULARLY, I need to celebrate myself.
6 months in self-employment and I'm going to say it - I. LOVE. IT. 100% the right choice.
Not scared of jinxing anything, because I don't believe in jinxes anymore - instead I believe in my dedication, determination, innovation - my brains, my Wild community and the founder, Jess Hellens (SO MUCH LOVE. You all have so much to answer for in this success), my tenacity. My willingness and capacity to adapt.
And I believe in the good, good, POWERFUL AS ALL HELL women around me, who lift me up, reassure me, challenge me.
6 months in business, so much more to go. This year has been a lot - I graduated from my Masters, I went self-employed, I discovered a whole side of me that loves a wild hike and a wild swim (where my @theadventuregirlsclub members at? )
I'm excited. But first - maybe a calmer October?
P.S. To anyone who feels exhausted, overwhelmed, snowed under with worry/anxiety - yes, the times are shit. The world is on fire most of the time (please don't check the news daily, it will rot your brain).
But there is a way out/through.
There is a light in the tunnel and it's not a train - it's a community who will be your best advocate, your best support, who will see you as you are, call you out and help you grow.
